from london to bentong (the end)

this gonna be my last post pasal "london to bentong" ni. omg tak habis habis. tak suka betol i buat kerja separuh separuh jalan ni. am gonna finish this off by hook or by crook! lol

DAY 7

on day 7 we all plan nak keluar awal-awal pagi lagi coz this is our last day in london. nak pegi settlekan our VAT kat primark & selfridges tu. tapi banyak pulakla bus diversion. last last sampai town lambat jugak. hmm what to do. but we all still dapat pegi primark & selfridges jugak. rugi la if tak claim tax kan. lepas dah settle everything, we all pegi  one new change. masa atas bas no.25 on the way to oxford street  tu, dah nampak shopping mall ni.tapi last day baru la nak pegi jalan-jalan kat sini,dah tak larat  dah nak jalan kat oxford street. lenguh kaki ler :p

DAY 8

our flight malam. but we all pukul 3pm dah nak kena gerak pegi LHR. takot jalan jam. pagi tu pack-pack barang & dok relax relax je la kat rumah while hubby & izzat pegi beli macaroon laduree nak bawak balik kl.kekeke

well, i hate hate hate 12 hr flight. rasa macam neverending je flight tu. camne la jadi stewardess tu kan?huhu luckily our flight tak full. 30 pax je. but still...finally home sweet home. & best rupanya dok KL ni. bersyukur lah ye. makan murah. makan sedap. semua benda murah. hahaha. we all sampai KL on the 3rd pukul 6pm. tengah ting tong ting tong lagi i had to unpack & pack again coz on the 4th tu we all nak kena pegi  family wedding@bentong  so nak bertolak pagi. nak tak nak. kene jugak unpack & pack. thank you hubby for helping :)

singapore chilli crabs prawns

i love love love chilli crabs. lagi lagi chilli crab kat devil's crab then dip it with fried mantou. oh yums!! so when i saw one of my relatives in singapore upload these photos on her facebook, i knew it right away that this recipe is a must try for me. i am sooo happy bila i found out that i can also use prawns instead kekeke sebenarnya i tak reti nak siang ketam! whateverlah nanti nanti lah i belajar siang ketam ngan my mom :p

by the way, the singapore chili prawns were really quick and easy to make and they turned out great! The sweet, hot and sour tomato sauce was so tasty and it went really well with the succulent prawns. I liked this dish so much that I have already made it a second time :D

Ingredients
(Serves 2-3)

12 large prawns (shelled, deveined, scored on back)
1 large onion (cut in ringlets)
2 tbs tamarind extract
3 tbs tomato sauce aka ketchup
salt & sugar
1 sprig of coriander (chopped for garnishing only)

in a blender/food processor, blitz together these ingredients until it is paste-like:-

1 large onion
10 dried chillies
8 cloves garlic
2 stalk lemongrass
1 tsp shrimp paste
1" ginger
1 tbs fennel seeds (jintan manis)

Preparation

1. Heat 2-3tbs oil in a wok or shallow saucepan
2. Add onion and stir-fry until it becomes slightly browned
3. Add and fry the blended ingredients till fragrant
4. Add tomato sauce
5. Toss in the prawns & tamarind extract and give it a good stir
6. Season with salt & sugar
7. Garnish with coriander before serving

my s'pore chilli prawn. serve immediately with steamed rice/fried mantou :)

DAY THREE

hari ketiga ni, hari my family sampai and also hari match Man U v Barcelona.my dearest hubby tu forever lah die hard fan Man U so semangat pagi pagi lagi dah plan nak gi wembley stadium. walaupun tiket dah sold out, nak jugak pegi ni. huhuhu. pukul 9 dah kuar rumah ni semangat punya pasal. ada orang tu baru sampai dari KL pon semangat jugak nak ikot. heheheh :p

naik bas je zZzz :p

nasibla jugak naik bas kan. masa atas bas tula ternampak something going on dekat hyde park. we all nampak ramai betol orang pakai jersey. so after we had our lunch, we all pegi hyde park. rupa-rupanya ada uefa festival kat sana. hmmph obviously i don't like it. coz i'm not into the football thing. sukalah my hubby & my brother tu. terus lupa plan nak gi stadium tu. hahaha berjam jam kat sana okay. tension betol i. dah la sejuk. haih tengok la gambar hari hari bahagia 2 orang peminat man u nih!

DAY FOUR

sunday!! so we all just jalan jalan dekat pasar dekat area rumah je. tak larat dah nak gi town klu dah jalan jalan kat pasar tu. sapa2 yang suka gi flea market and suka bargain-bargain should go to this place. nama market tu petticoat lane and brick lane. macam-macam lah ada kat market ni. dari barang-barang antik to baju baju from topshop,zara, asos, etc. and  memang murah :)

DAY 5

hahah hari ke 5 hari tak ambik gambar lansung :p we gi collect barang kat harrods, then merayau kat oxford street. kaki memang dah lenguh. hari hari berjalan. if kat kl mana la nak jalan jauh jauh macam kat sana. jangan harap la kan.

DAY 6  

CAMDEN MARKET DAY omg i dah blank! tak tahu nak tulis apa.LOL hehe nasib baik izzat ikot. if not tak sampailah kami ke camden market. thank you izzat tunjuk jalan. kekekek

naik bas double decker lagi best!

from london to bentong (part I)

we're now back in KL and back to reality da seminggu lebih da pon :( my lil aidan pon dah sedih sedih kena tinggal kat nursery balik. best la tu kan aritu dapat berkepit ngan mama papa 24 7 kan? kan? hehe mama pon sedih jugak :p

flight 13jam to LHR tu record flight paling lama aidan naik. phewwwwww, i'm glad it's over! I'm glad coz I  tak suka bau airplane! Tak tahulah kenapa the smell tu selalu buat I sakit kepala! O.o Well as for Aidan, alhamdulillah he 's okay all the way!! Ada la ngamok cket-cket, tipula if tak ngamok lansung kan :p

actually this our first time naik flight bertiga. tu yang agak gabra cket. sebelum ni my mum selalu ada. gi mekah aritu lagi la ramai kaum kerabat nak main-main ngan aidan. hehehe tapi okaayla experience has taught me a lot.

DAY ONE

it was freaking cold! what was i thinking? bajet cool la tu tak pakai jacket

sampai-sampai tu we all rest kejap, refresh ourselves, makan kebab, top up oyster card then terus kuar pegi town. hehe my poor baby jetlag :) btw hmm i thought it was summer but suhu petang tu 9 degrees! crazy. 

at trafalgar square - tak posing pon kat sini. sejuk sangat. tak tahannnnn!

at Jom Makan, lapar + sejuk nak mati. muka pon monyok hahaha

lepas dinner kat jom makan. teros balik rumah. we all dah tak tahan dah kesejukan yang amat.

DAY TWO

hari kedua, misi mencari laduree. hehehe berbekalkan application google map, berjaya jugak jumpa laduree di burlington arcade ni. haaaaaa  puas hati dapat beli 15 biji macaroons perisa caramel & coffee eclairs! oh sedapnya. 

ohh macaroon, i miss you already!!

& bermacam-macam lagi kuih muih mat salleh

lepas dah puas hati dapat jumpa macaroons tu. we all naik bas plak untuk misi ke 2, melawat primark. hehehe. if u all sampai ke london. primark ni wajib pegi ok. motto dia "look good & pay less". & memang betol pon. baju baju dia memang stylo mylo and memang murah gila. bukan baju sahaja tau. handbags, sunglasses, shoes, barang make up, you name it :) hehehe. hari kedua, tu je la kot activity rasanya. coz nak cari laduree tu pon nak dekat sejam. then kat primark berjam-jam. oh and then we all g makan nasi itik dekat hyde park corner. naik bas no.7 depan primark berhenti dekat westborne grove it's for my future reference coz selalu argue ngan my hubby nak kena naik bas no berapa sampai sesat sesat lol 

lupa pulak sebelum ke primark we all gi breakfast dulu makan fish & chips. hahaha breakfast? fish & chips? kihkihkih. lantakla kan. sejuk sejuk ni cepat lapar :(

our "breakfast". sorang satu! bahahaha

hari ketiga dan hari seterusnya bersambung nanti. hmmmm. nanti panjang sangat, malas pulak nak baca kan? hehehe.
